The role  

As part of a small team, you will be learning orientated, hands on, enjoy working at high pace, have a growth mindset and be a peer coach.  You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute strategies that attract, develop, and retain top talent. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our HR practices align with values and business objectives. We are evolving our model and introducing a proactive HR stance. You will partner with leaders in a defined portfolio, as well as operate as a full cycle HR practitioner, and also be involved in leading and delivering projects as we transform our function and improve our processes and approaches. This role involves building deep partnerships across People Operations finance, legal and portfolio of People Leaders to deliver proactive People process, coaching and insights.  This role is hands on and strategic in the same breath, if that’s not you stop reading.

  • Join leadership meetings with respective business units.  

  • Consult with line people leaders, providing proactive and reactive HR guidance when appropriate. 

  • Analyze trends and metrics with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies. 

  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations if required.  

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, balancing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.  

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). 

  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. 

  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Fast learner, growth mindset, high output and high quality of work. 

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner and generalist HR or similar HR role in a high-paced environment, in a growth company, preferably in the cybersecurity or SaaS sector. 7+ years minimum of relevant experience.  

  • Thrives in startup environments of 200+ people  

  • Ideally has supported GTM functions and leaders as they scale  

  • Approaches every task with humility and enthusiasm, eager to contribute to building strong relationships, supporting teammates, and enhancing the overall employee experience 

  • Commercial outlook with experience using HR skills as a business enabler.  

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees and management. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Great gif game.  

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or proven real world equivalent experience  

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt messaging and style to suit the needs of different audiences. 

  • Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to design meeting and workshop agendas to build commitment to outcomes and drive decision-making. 

  • Experience building HR systems and processes from the ground up.  

  • Relationship Management experience, either through client support or by leading, managing and influencing other members of a team. 

  • Up-to-date on HR best practices and current market trends.  

  • Change Management experience.
