Preference for candidates local to the DC Metro area. Work will be performed remotely. Candidates MUST be located in the United States for the current three consecutive years and be US Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder)

Pega Business Architect

Certification - Pega Business Architect

Years of Experience – 5+

Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate existing processes, clarify strategic objectives, and develop and implement efficient solutions using the Pega platform. Responsibilities include formulating test plans, developing user guides, and managing work items through Azure DevOps. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience with Pega integrations, and proficiency in digital whiteboarding tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Agile methodologies, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for improving business processes through innovative solutions.

  • Thought Leadership - Work with stakeholders to evaluate existing processes, clarify strategic objectives, and contribute to development plans. Analyze and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency. Deliverables include development plans and process diagrams.
  • Critical Thinking & Analysis - Utilize strong problem-solving skills to critically analyze user feedback and requirements. Break down problems into manageable portions for development teams or clients. Deliverables include flow charts and diagrams.
  • Digital Whiteboarding Tools - Employ digital whiteboarding tools (Visio, Adobe XD, PowerPoint, Figma) to provide centralized points of reference in virtual meetings, facilitating discussion and feedback. Adapt to user input in real-time to generate documentation. Deliverables include flow charts and diagrams.
  • Test Plans - Develop test plans for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, including the creation of UAT web pages outlining roles and steps for testers. Deliverables include test plans and UAT web pages.
  • DevOps, Documentation & Collaboration - Administer Work Item Management platforms such as Azure DevOps by running meetings, creating and running queries, and keeping work items up to date to ensure teams are on track. Develop documentation and user guides for NIA applications to assist fellow developers and NIA staff. Communicate clearly and collaborate with teams to iterate on ideas beneficial to the institute. Deliverables include up-to-date work items, Azure DevOps queries, comprehensive documentation, and user guides.

Pega Lead Systems Architect

Certification - Pega Lead Systems Architect

Years of Experience – 5+ years

Develop and design advanced enterprise-level systems.  Architect and design complex solutions for large-scale Pega-based applications. Work with stakeholders to evaluate existing processes, clarify strategic objectives, and contribute to development plans as well as analyze and recommend how processes might be made to be more efficient. Consider the past, current, and future states of specific systems

or systems as a whole, to analyze and produce an effective roadmap to grow and maintain the Pega ecosystem.

Configure Pega rules, data models, and decisioning components to meet the specified business requirements. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, ensuring alignment with Pega development best practices. Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve production related issues independently. Debug and troubleshoot issues in Pega applications, identifying and implementing effective solutions. Perform unit testing and support system testing activities, ensuring the software meets functional and performance requirements. Collaborate with system architects and infrastructure teams to deploy Pega applications and manage environment configurations. Document technical designs, implementation approaches, and configuration changes for reference and future maintenance. Stay updated with the latest Pega features, best practices, and industry trends, and apply them to enhance the quality and efficiency of Pega development projects.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
