Peer Support Specialist (Temp)

Salary/Position Classification

• $20-$25 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 19 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This position will be working with the North Dakota Brain Injury Network (NDBIN) project team on tasks such as assisting the development of brain injury and criminal justice materials, facilitating educational support groups and assisting with program outreach. As well as attending steering committee and other grant meetings as applicable to peer support.

NDBIN is a statewide program providing outreach, education, and support for individuals with brain injury, families, and the community.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist project team with development of brain injury and criminal justice materials
• Facilitating educational support groups
• Assisting with program outreach
• Attending steering committee and other grant meetings as applicable to peer support

Required Competencies

• Experience facilitating support groups and educational classes for individuals with disabilities.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicant must be an North Dakota Certified Peer Support Specialist
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Experience with the North Dakota criminal justice system
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
