ROLE OVERVIEWÂ Â
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Central Payroll team. The Specialist will support our efforts to process payroll for exempt, non-exempt, and fee-for-service employees. The role requires comfort around nuance and change with a complex environment.Â
COMPENSATION: $60,000 - 75,000/annually
This position is fully remote and can be performed anywhere within the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Administer the successful processing of the bi-weekly and monthly, multi-state payroll for 5,000+ employeesÂ
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with LifeStance policies and in accordance with all federal/state/local regulationsÂ
Process payroll level data for new hires, employee status changes, and terminationsÂ
Research and resolve payroll related inquiries in a timely matterÂ
Calculate and process payroll adjustments as requiredÂ
Develop appropriate SOPâs and Job-Aids Â
Assist Internal Audit with periodic audits of various payroll controls to ensure compliance with SOXÂ
Help facilitate payroll processes with newly acquired practices as they integrate into LifeStanceÂ
Other payroll operational projects and duties as assignedÂ
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions/updates as neededÂ
SKILLS & EXPERIENCEÂ Â
Bachelorâs degree in business management, business administration, or a similar field of study preferredÂ
5+ years of multi-state and multi-entity payroll administration experienceÂ
Detailed knowledge of full payroll process including taxes, deductions, benefits, 401k, and federal/state regulationsÂ
Experience in healthcare industry preferredÂ
Demonstrate strong Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, formulas, macros)Â
Knowledge of ADP WorkforceNow preferredÂ
Proven analytics and problem-solving skills; ability to create adhoc reports from payroll systemÂ
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills requiredÂ
Exceptional organization skills and attention to detailÂ
