About the Team/Role 

Join our TEAM and become a part of Wex, as we revolutionize payment processing. As a Payment Delivery Representative with Wex, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment. In this position, the Payment Delivery Representative will be responsible for payments, prepayment applications and handling customer accounts as required. The Payment Delivery Representative is responsible for accurately and timely processing of customer payments to the servicing system daily. This position will work collaboratively with business units to ensure company guidelines and processes are met.

How you'll make an impact

  • Responsible for making outbound phone calls to process payments directly to small/medium businesses with large and small volume call centers or through individual IVR and websites. 

  • Posts all payments accurately and electronically to the servicing system.

  • Reconciles posted items

  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller.

  • Assist with other projects as needed

Experience you'll bring 

  • Proven abilities with computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, etc. 

  • Professional and courteous demeanor

  • Critical Thinking/Problem Solving Skills

  • Effective Communication Skills – verbal, written and electronically 

  • Documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.

  • Average 20 – 24 Transactions p/hour or 160/ - 192 p/day

  • >10 Outbound Calls p/hour 

  • <3.5 minutes per payment call

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
