Payment Coordinator (Remote)

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Helps to train new personnel

  • Ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures, Sarbanes Oxley Act, internal and external accounting guidance and our company's standard operating procedures.

  • Responsible for the creation of Grants in our Grant Management System or Purchase Orders in SAP for Consultant or Vendor Agreements and maintaining all purchase orders or grants

  • Responsible for the creation of PPR payments in SAP for Ex-US consultant payments

  • Processing, tracking and approving monthly invoices in our Grant Management System

  • Reconciling grants or purchase orders

  • Resolving invoice issues for the vendors and consultants

  • Consulting with Global Clinical Trial Operations, Finance and Procurement on vendor or consultant contracts

  • Summarize Purchase Order/ Agreement justification for our Research & Development Division's Senior Management

  • Corporate Audit Support

  • Assures our company's Grant of Authority policies are followed

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • High School degree required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 3+ years in Accounting/Finance related position

  • Must have SAP experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel

  • Good interpersonal skills demonstrated as energetic, proactive, enthusiastic, and independent thinker

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities within matrix environment

  • Works and meets deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated effectiveness working independently, collaboratively with peers and in cross-functional teams
