FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday -Friday 8:30am-5pm, First 90 days in office, after training 100% remote
Position Summary
The PFE Customer Service Representative, as the primary point of contact for patients, provides exceptional customer service in response to a high volume of incoming calls regarding account status in compliance with department policies/procedures, and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and HIPAA regulations. The Representative researches and resolves difficult and/or complex billing issues or discrepancies that builds relationships, and increases overall trust and satisfaction in the patient’s financial experience.This is an advanced level billing customer service position, working in a call center environment with limited supervision.
Requirements
- AA degree preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of health care billing or customer service experience required
- OR Minimum eighteen (18) months of MHS Billing w/ significantly more progressive responsibilities and a high level of demonstrated customer service skills

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $19.13 - $27.53 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
