Regions Hospital has a great career opportunity for a Patient Account Representative to join our team.  This is a hybrid remote position that will work onsite in St. Paul weekly. This is not a fully remote position. Employees must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota, and have a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work free from interruptions.

The Patient Account Representative approaches work from a patient-centered perspective, and uses creative and innovative thinking to problem solve issues that affect patient accounts.  The Patient Account Representative provides services related to financial and insurance inquiries, researches and resolves patient concerns and various financial and insurance problems, and performs clerical support functions.  This position has a deep understanding of the total organizational system, structure, and dynamics, and consistently considers the impact of decisions on the policies of the patient accounting department, while honoring the patients’ rights to privacy and confidentiality.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. rotation.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of hospital or clinic medical office experience.
  • Reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota, and have a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work free from interruptions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Epic experience.
  • Hospital medical billing experience.

Additional Information:

This is a union 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day shift position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $77,542.40-$120,182.40 annually, based on experience and internal equity. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and eligible for benefits.
