What you will do:
This is a 100% remote position working full time, Monday through Friday with a firm hourly schedule of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM in their respective time zone.
- Toggling multiple systems & applications
- Remote patient registration
- Census Reconciliation- Hospital vs. Patient registration data
- Patient Identification/Demographic updates
- Insurance verification, mapping correct plan codes to insurance types
- Hold codes- Identify and Hold encounters pending follow up
- Resolving Unbilled encounters
- Electronic communications- Provider, Medical Record request
- Attend team daily huddles; to received and provide process report performance outcomes
- Performance/Productivity- Daily/Weekly huddles MS Teams
What you will need:
- High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience in lieu of diploma/GED
- 6 months - 2 years relevant experience in healthcare with knowledge of billing and collections, medical insurance claims procedures and documentation, patient care charts and histories, patient registration procedures and documentation.
