Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Partnership Manager to lead a national team of Partnership Specialists dedicated to building and maintaining impactful relationships with high value schools, and organizations within those schools, to promote direct-to-consumer programs for the students at the schools. Your role is instrumental in enhancing the educational experience for students and achieving the overarching goals of The Princeton Review. As a Partnerships Manager you and your team will be responsible for planning and executing compelling on-campus and online partnership events that engage students and result in enrollments into The Princeton Review programs including on-campus partnership courses.             

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a distributed team that work closely with partner schools and organizations to provide outstanding client service while promoting the brand and increasing enrollment in test preparation, academic support, and college/graduate school admissions programs.
  2. Train, coach, and mentor a team of dedicated and engaged partnership specialists to meet and exceed business goals, while growing in their professional careers. Actively manage underperformers and ensure team resilience.

 

  1. Drive team to plan and manage all promotional and operational aspects of running The Princeton Review partnership events; prospect and participate in non-Princeton Review events to attract students.
  2. Support team in building and nurturing relationships with key administrators, counselors, advisors, faculty, parents, and student organizations to develop formal, strong, and lasting Partnerships to increase The Princeton Review's brand recognition, attendance at events, and sales into TPR programs.
  3. Develop strategies to promote partnerships and brand awareness that lead to measurable business results. This includes assisting the team with planning and coordinating special events and conducting informational sales presentations at schools and community organizations. 
  4. Analyze registration, conversion, and school penetration data to identify areas of opportunity. Create and execute improvement strategies to attain year over year growth in bookings from key schools. 
  5. Drive key metric growth, ensuring a culture of accountability around partnership growth, consistent follow-up, and innovative application of proven strategies.
  6. Execute partnership initiatives, promotions, advertising campaigns, and events in alignment with The Princeton Review’s mission and goals.
  7. Stay informed, review data, and analyze industry trends. This includes staying on top of educational developments, uncovering potential partnership opportunities, assessing the impact and effectiveness of partnerships/events, and developing strategies to respond to market dynamics and competitor activity. 
  8. Set objectives and manage staff through strong leadership; create a respectful environment in which employees can grow, express their opinions and ideas, are focused on attaining key objectives, and feel a sense of satisfaction with their job and TPR.
  9. Communicate and apply company-wide strategy, initiatives, and programs.
  10. Ensure team is tracking activity in a complete and timely manner using internal systems.
  11. Undertake other duties as assigned, showcasing flexibility and readiness to contribute to the overall success of the team.

 

Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least five years of professional experience in sales, client/customer relationship building management, partnership development, and/or event promotion in the test preparation, admissions, or education space required.
  • Experience managing successful teams and motivating employees to succeed.
  • Enthusiastic, confident, and optimistic demeanor with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dynamic speaker with the ability to present to large groups of students and faculty members, both in-person and virtually.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A driven self-starter with a desire to meet and exceed goals.  
  • Ability to manage your own time and work remotely while effectively managing a geographically dispersed team.
  • An ethic of personal responsibility; holding yourself accountable on behalf of your team.
  • Excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to travel throughout the area and work remotely via platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • In-depth knowledge of area geography and target schools a plus.

Salary: $66,000-$72,100 per year, based on a 40 hour work week.
