Part-Time W2 Therapist - Massachusetts

What You'll Do
- Ability and willingness to work with clients remotely via HIPAA-compliant messaging-based and video-based therapy
- Diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders
- Maintain a caseload of enough clients to maintain at least 15 hours of clinical engagement per week
- Complete 5 hours of admin/meetings per week
- Engage with and respond to all clients within a timely manner
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner
- Test and support Direct to Employer products including our new digital EAP
- Understand therapist experience on the platform and formulate best practices to implement to improve therapist experience
- Attend regular meetings with Clinical Supervisor
- Obtain additional professional licensure in state(s) assigned by company
- Additional duties as assigned
About you
- Minimum education (in addition to licensure) of Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, other Behavioral Science
- Current clear/active Massachusetts licensure to practice independently:
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy (or willingness to purchase)
- Individual NPI number (or willingness to obtain)
- Submission of a fully completed, signed CAQH application (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable learning new online tools and technology
- Reliable internet connection

Compensation
At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.
The base salary for this role is between $38,000 to $48,000. The salaries for our National Practice Provider roles are based on a number of factors, including the provider’s state(s) of licensure, relevant experience, and market conditions. Compensation can vary over time based on both evolving business needs and external market dynamics. While we strive to ensure fairness across all roles, adjustments may be necessary to attract top talent or meet specific operational demands.
