Part-time Sitter for 1 and 3 year old

Department Overview:

Family of 4 on Madison's near-West side, close to West High School.  Parking available.  No pets.

Schedule:

Tues/Thurs- 3:00-5:30pm

OR

Tues- 4:30-5:30pm

Thurs- 8:00am-12:00pm

There is flexibilty in the start/end times, so we can adjust if needed.

We're also interested in occational weekend and evening care (after 7:30pm bedtime), if your schedule allows and you have interest.  (However, this is far less important.)

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for a part-time sitter to care for our daughters, ages 1 and 3, during the 2024-25 school year, with the opportunity to extend into the summer and beyond. Start date flexible.

Our girls are adventurous, curious, and silly.  They enjoy reading, making art, and pretend play.  There are nice parks in our neighborhood within walking distance, and a fenced backyard to play in.  There is no expectation of providing transportation, but outings may be planned using our car, if desired.  You can also use our double stroller for walks to the park, or around our neighborhood.  

Qualifications:

• Prior nanny/babysitting experience with young children
• Prior experience caring for multiple children
• CPR certified (preferred)
• Reliable and communicative
• Driver's license not required, but must be able to show up for scheduled shifts on time.
