Position Summary/Job Duties:

Seeking a reliable and responsible nanny to join our active family and care for our two children (3yrs. and 9months) ASAP!  We would love at least a 1yr. commitment, but hoping the arrangement works out longer. We are a fun and very busy family located in Monona and live on a park, near the lake, library, pool and many other parks, and are on the bike/lake loop. Both parents work full-time. Hours are flexible but would love consistency. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure children’s safety
• Keep children active and engaged in outdoor and indoor play 
• Create a learning atmosphere to encourage development 
• Provide customized care for our children while meeting their physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs
• Prepare food for children 
• Arrange playdates and outings to provide social exposure 
• Tidy up play areas and children’s rooms

Qualifications/Skills:

• Nurturing, kind, active, creative and interactive with children
• Child-focused
• Compassionate and patient
• CPR certification preferred

Other:

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience with younger children is preferred
• Spanish-speaking abilities is a bonus
