Part Time Lead Specialist - Trade Settlement

This position is FULLY REMOTE:

Part Time, M-F, 5 pm - 9 pm EST with occasional Saturdays and Sundays.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Pre-Settlement and Settlement team is responsible for the accurate and timely settlement of equity, fixed income, repo, options, swaps and futures trades, both US and global, for accounts on the Global Plus system.  The team is responsible for pre-settlement and settlement processes of trades executed by internal and third party investment managers.

Responsibilities:

• Support all marketable equity and fixed-income trading for our line of business:
• Resolving trade exceptions by coordination with investment managers and/or brokers.
• Working with investment managers, brokers and internal teams to resolve failed trades on a timely basis.
• Researching and resolving exceptions, including depository position exceptions.
• Ensure all trade affirmation is completed by 9:00pm.
• Process the Depository Trust Company (DTC) ANE and Globalization functions.
• Review and process all unassigned trade execution including SWIFT repair.
• Manually affirm Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) if needed.
• Back-up to third-party securities lending.
• Lead in all application validations. 
• Actively work to streamline processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of work performed.
• Provide a high level of service to both internal and external parties.
• Be an integral part of the coverage plan for all functions in the department.
• Participate in other continuous improvement projects.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $21 to $22 per hour depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience.
