Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for a part-time care giver for our darling 16 year old daughter who has autism and global developmental delays. She mainly spends time on her iPad but can sometimes be encouraged to go on bike rides or walks. She also likes singing songs, reciting lines from movies, having conversations about Pixar movies, and McDonalds smoothies. We are looking for someone to spend a few hours with her on weekends to give us as parents some respite and her a chance to engage with other adults.

We are flexible on hours, though mainly interested in either afternoons or evenings, and can accommodate your schedule.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, interested in spending time with a young person who has autism spectrum disorder, and who may need to change a diaper on occasion. You would need to provide your own transportation to and from our home in Monona (approximately a 15 minute drive from campus).

Qualifications:

Some experience working with individuals who have disabilities is preferred but not required.
