This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Part-time Business Analysis Representative. If you possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision in cost analysis and reporting, we want you on our team! You will be responsible for efficient project financial management, including working on cross-functional teams, projections, and reporting on financial risks and opportunities. You will also offer, manage, and update solutions, and processes for specific contracts. Solutions must be simple for data entry, capture all required documentation, perform all required calculations, route workflow for approvals in the simplest format for the US Government to review, approve, and track.

What You Will Do
- Conduct comprehensive cost and funding analysis and reporting to ensure efficient project management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
- Maintain cost and funding projections to support programmatic decision-making and forecasting.
- Track and report on contract/sub-contract value, funding status/limitation of funds submittals, and incurred costs.
- Collaborate with program and functional teams on project, material, and sub-contract data.
- Generate accurate and timely reports, providing key stakeholders with valuable insights into project performance.
- Identify risks and opportunities, proactively recommending process improvements and efficiencies.
- Develop and prepare financial reports for program management and customers in accordance with contract and TDL requirements.
- Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, marketing, and human resources systems.
- Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments.
- Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
- Requires knowledge of e-commerce tools, computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflow.
What We Are Looking For
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- 2 – 3 years of project control experience
- Strong QA/QC skills
- Experience providing written and verbal reports to management related to financial analysis of each contract, directorate, and division
- Effective communicator/team player working with program managers, proposal writers, and contract/pricing administrators to craft a total package of financial portions for new work effort solicitations.
- Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to examine information or a situation in detail to identify key or important elements, their strengths, and weaknesses, and use these to compile a persuasive argument, make recommendations, or solve a problem.
- Knowledge of data integration tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel (Advanced usage of Excel 2007 preferred), Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
- Smartsheet and MS Teams Application experience (Planner, Lists, Workflows)
- Experience financial data for programs
- Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Cost Point
- Implement financial policies, develop, and manage cost/schedule baseline data analysis, and report formats in support of customer contracts.
- FEDSIM Contract experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on working experience in the configuration, customization, and implementation of SaaS applications.
