Schedule:

We ask that you are available to provide backup childcare for our 1-year-old daughter on Thursdays and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. 

If you are not needed, we will pay you $30 per day. However, if we need you to provide backup childcare on Thursdays or Fridays (often times because our daughter has a mild viral illness or because the daycare is closed), we will pay you $25/hour.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and caring babysitter or nanny to provide backup childcare for our 1-year-old daughter on Thursdays and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be available on short notice to step in when our daughter cannot attend daycare due to a mild viral illness or if her daycare is closed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for our 1-year-old daughter.
• Engage her in age-appropriate activities and play.
• Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
• Ensure her safety and well-being at all times.
• Maintain a relatively clean and organized environment.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying, preferably with infants and toddlers.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with young children in a positive manner.
• Flexibility to work on short notice, specifically on Thursdays and Fridays.
• Background check required.
