Position Description:
The Paralegal will support the PAR Legal team through the review, preparation, and management of legal documents, while performing a range of administrative and legal support tasks. This individual will be responsible for drafting and negotiating routine agreements, maintaining corporate records, supporting litigation efforts, and assisting in regulatory filings.
Position Location: New Hartford, NY/Hybrid/Remote
Reports To: Associate General Counsel and Compliance Officer
What We’re Looking For:
Education:
Paralegal degree required.
Experience:
10+ years of paralegal experience, with significant experience in corporate legal matters.
Skills:
Exceptional drafting, writing, and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Attributes:
Self-starter who is accountable and solutions-oriented.
Strong collaborator with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
Results-driven and proactive in problem-solving.
Additional Skills:
Legal research capabilities.
Knowledge of corporate filings with the NYSE and SEC.
Understanding of intellectual property and litigation processes.
Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:
Draft, review, and negotiate routine legal documents, including contracts, leases, licenses, NDAs, and terms and conditions.
Maintain corporate records and assist with preparation and filing of routine corporate documents.
Support preparation of NYSE and SEC corporate filings.
Assist with intellectual property management.
Support litigation matters through records gathering and fact-finding.
Conduct legal research as needed.
Prepare internal and external correspondence.
Perform clerical and administrative duties including scheduling, tracking expenditures, and processing requests.
Act as a cross-functional liaison between legal and other internal teams.
