This role will lead as the day-to-day subject matter expert (SME) for one of Jump’s largest, most prestigious clients, providing strategic recommendations, analysis, and reporting as well as responding to ad-hoc requests. You will be the one responsible to target customers, provide insight and create compelling and engaging ads with our creative team and to deliver outstanding communication, service and campaign performance.
You will be the client’s main point of contact, requiring you to have exceptional communication skills, set expectations, accordingly, and manage your team. Responsible for all aspects of strategy and executing paid digital media campaigns on networks platforms listed above and more, the Paid Search Director will work with our exceptional internal team to exceed client KPIs and grow business. This includes initial planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting.
Search Investment Strategy
- Contributes to Development of Tactical recommendations and Monthly Forecasts and mid-month forecast updates for Search
- Contributes to Annual and Quarterly Strategic Recommendations for Search
- Collaborates with MarSci on Learning Agenda
- Provides Ad accounts best practices maintenance, strategic evaluation, and evolution
- Pull ad hoc reports/recommendations/tests
Client Account Management
- Responds to all client and platform rep emails and lead meetings
- Leads Client Facing Search Status
- Leads client facing presentations
Performance Management & Optimizations
- Leads performance reviews (Monday, Wed, Friday) check-ins for Search—Adobe Report, Mid-Week Bulletin, Friday Pacing Email
- Makes optimization decisions in partnership with director planning (cross channel optimizations)
- Informs planning and activation about budget optimizations and budget changes needed to meet goals for Search
- Manages Team of 4 HOK (2 onshore + 2 offshore) search specialists and guides in platform optimization decisions.
Pacing Trackers and Prisma
- Leads development of Search Pacing Trackers and Budget Management - in collaboration with Manager and Sr Associate
- Makes Prisma media plan updates
- Update/track IOs in platform and make shifts between platforms throughout the month to ensure we don’t go dark
- Platform spend pacing on the weekends (currently handing it over to the Annalect India team)
Requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of performance marketing experience required, specifically an emphasis on paid search
- Experience in scaling/increasing campaign spends while maintaining or improving KPIs
- Ability to problem-solve and structure complex projects/plans with multiple stakeholders and deliverables
- Ability to communicate effectively to all employee levels while understanding both the day to day and big picture
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
