Paid Ads Director
St. Louis, Missouri, United States - Remote
This role will manage, oversee, and implement the overall paid ads strategy for our clients. They will grow brand awareness and drive traffic across paid and organic strategies delivering enhanced engagement and market leading conversion. In addition, they will develop the paid ads strategy and customer engagement by blending both brand and performance marketing for the company. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of paid ad professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development
- Delegate tasks and projects while ensuring the team's efforts are aligned with the overarching strategy
- Develop, execute, and optimize paid ad campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth, including digital and direct response marketing campaigns
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to align marketing strategies and tactics with overall business goals
- Develop multichannel strategy to drive marketing performance and capture incremental revenue
- Monitor and evaluate digital campaigns for optimization and continued effectiveness
- Consult on paid ad campaigns from initiation through to their execution and implementation
- Identify an optimal mix of digital marketing tactics to ensure broad coverage and a targeted demand gen / lead gen focus
- Manage relationships with external vendor partners, ensuring they deliver results
- Leverage AI and machine learning technologies, such as programmatic advertising, chatbots, and automated email campaigns, to optimize marketing performance and customer engagement
- Ensure the team's technical competencies are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices, such as proficiency in paid ad automation platforms, analytics tools, and advertising platforms
- Comfortable conducting metrics analysis, setting KPIs, and interpretation of goals and reporting on the results to senior leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in paid ads
- 5+ years of people management/leadership experience
- Extensive experience with SEO, paid search, social, and content marketing
- Proven experience in managing and leading teams
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, such as experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), ROI analysis, and campaign performance tracking
- Basic web technology skills, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with AI applications in marketing, such as chatbots, predictive analytics, and marketing automation
- Ability to translate strategy into projects and drive project execution
