We currently have a rare and exciting opportunity for an Oversight Manager to join us during this time of evolution and growth.

Successful delivery of this role ensures that our team are engaged, perform to the best of their abilities and that we meet expectations of our clients and customers. You will be a champion of change, ensuring we remain compliant at all times in a challenging regulatory environment

Your duties will include:

  • Responsibility for ensuring and demonstrating on-going compliance with our regulatory responsibilities.
  • Evaluating and assessing supplier performance against our policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Communicating updates to the business, as well as Exco members - bringing to life data and metrics
  • Conducting oversight of the mortgage underwriting team on the lending decisions made, as well as being the mandate holder for complex customer accounts
  • Making key decisions - ensuring they are not only compliant but enable our customers to achieve their own financial objectives
  • Ensuring delivery of the annual oversight plan, highlighting risks, as well as contributing to improvements
  • Attending and contributing to relevant governance sessions
  • Tracking performance and budget against SLA's
  • Direct line management responsibilities for the Oversight team

Requirements

You're someone who has:      

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of applicable regulation to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including those that affect interactions with customers.
  • Understanding of Lender of Record regulatory requirements and obligations
  • Underwriting / origination experience with a Lender or packager
  • Demonstrable Oversight Management experience in a Financial Services or related servicing organisation
  • Comprehensive understanding of secured first and second charge collections for FSMA & non FSMA regulated business
  • FSMA regulation relating to mortgage lending, In particular: MCOB 4, 5, 11 ,Principle 6,
  • FSMA regulation relation to mortgage arrears, specifically MCOB 13
  • Professional qualification e.g CeMAP, FPC (Desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience in an outsourced operation (Desirable)
