OSP/Fiber Project Manager

Purpose of the Position:
The Project Manager has complete understanding and responsibility for the scope of work, schedule, cost, resources, quality, and deliverables and must be able to communicate requirements to appropriate operational teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert on the assigned OSP projects.
- Create a project schedule from given project parameters.
- Ensure the project schedule is in line with the financial plan.
- Review and create invoices for all billable items.
- Partner with the Design Manager to create a staffing plan that is within budget.
- Hold project scoping meetings to identify point of contacts for permitting, engineering, and construction.
- Manage Sub-contractors invoicing.
- Report project progress internally and externally.
- Attend all client meetings and provide updates.
- Develop, monitor, and measure quality and production metrics.
- Indirectly lead teams of engineers and designers to achieve project milestones.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Required:
- Self-motivated candidates who have a degree in Engineering Technologies, GIS, CAD, or similar and/or equivalent work experience with design software or OSP project management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced AutoCAD experience is recommended but not required.
- Experience in GIS software (ArcGIS, 3GIS, or similar) is recommended but not required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt to changes in scope of work and priority.
