Orders, Deliveries & Inventory Coordinator (11-Month Contract)

North America - Remote

The Order, Deliveries & Inventory Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting the Inventory Planning team to review and manage shop orders, support inventory management, offer one-on-one ordering and delivery support and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business. This role requires continuous interaction with shops, retail leadership, operations, and other departments to ensure that shop orders are processed, fulfilled and delivered on time and in compliance with the company's internal and external requirements.

Reporting to the Orders, Deliveries & Inventory Lead, you will undertake the following RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build strong relationships with store Managers and MITs to ensure stores are supported providing communication and training where needed
  • Ensure that stores have the right inventory at the right time to meet sales demand. Support managers so they are empowered to make the best decisions for their business
  • Analyze product flow from Distribution Centers to stores to identify fulfillment gaps and support resolution 
  • Develop strong understanding of inventory pipeline requirements including lead times and delivery schedules
  • Monitor transportation services and communicate changes to retail managers through the Order and Delivery Dashboard, email and phone
  • Partner with carrier representative and operations in resolving transportation related issues
  • Coordination and communication with store managers, sales support, operations, and logistics to quickly resolve issues necessary for the timely processing and fulfillment of orders
  • Identify and recommend transportation improvements, proactively analyzing transportation performance results against benchmarks

You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the company, and order & inventory management policies and metrics
  • Service orientated with a “retail first” mindset
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient user of Excel 
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Must be analytical and embrace technology
  • Proven organizational skills and have a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to a deadline
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with management, sales teams and stores
  • Be self-directed and motivated
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to multi-task, work within established processes, apply sound judgement and knowledge, and escalate issues as necessary

Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • 1+ year(s) experience working in a Lush retail environment as a Floor Leader or above
  • Understanding of company product offerings

Job Type: 11-Month Contact (Mat Leave Cover), Full Time. Remote position.

Job Location: This is a remote position, open to internal Lush applicants across North America. 

Salary Range: $22-$23/hr CAD
(Salary range is determined based on Vancouver market assessment. May vary depending on location of the successful candidate)
