The Order Management Specialist is responsible for functions within the Order Management department which include processing orders for company products, expediting and coordinating flow of work within or between internal departments, and reviewing agreements or proposed agreements for conformity to company rates, rules, and regulations. This position reports to the Order Management Manager for the department.

This position is part of Order Management and is a remote position. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Respond timely and efficiently to customer inquiries via different communication channels, as well as have strong telephone and email etiquette to effectively engage with internal or external customers, peers, and management
  • Monitor quality, productivity, turn-around-time, and other order related expectations with the ability to work well under pressure, effectively manage priorities and maintain professionalism during stressful situations

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills such as but not limited to emails  or notifications to customers or internal partners
  • Demonstrated examples with the ability to follow procedural guidelines and respond to and/or research customer concerns/inquiries with urgency and accuracy.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with SAP, eCommerce, EDI, GHX, Saleforce
  • Experience with customer survey tools/applications
  • Experience with call center technology
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $30. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
