The Information Technology Specialist III is a senior level engineer with expertise in multiple Oracle Fusion ERP, Supply Chain, PPM Modules, OIC (Oracle Integrations Cloud), VBCS & Oracle PaaS implementations. This role identifies and initiates solutions to complex or systematic problems, analyzes business plans and strategies to define technology vision.  This may involve leading or directing others in problem resolution involving programming, interface and product design, platform development, infrastructure and interactions with multiple systems.

  • Design, development, implementation and support of mission-critical enterprise business intelligence reports and provide the Self-service options to user for running ad hoc reports. 
  • Working with cross-functional teams, Developer will participate to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs. 
  • Assist in evaluating existing reports, map capabilities, standards and guidelines for performance, scalability, security, error logging, auditing and determine suitable modifications to better serve the needs of the business
  • Assist in identifying, developing, and implementing automation strategies for reports.
  • Propose, plan, initiate, direct and document projects to test architectural proposals and concepts which may involve industry trends and new technologies, providing guidance and recommendations to senior management.
  • Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements
  • Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the
  • required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources
  • Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports
  • and dashboards for both business and IT users
  • Ability to develop and maintain interfaces between Oracle ERP Cloud and 3rd party systems.
  • Ability to develop and maintain file-based integrations (FBDI) between third-party systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud using HDL and HSDL.
  • Expert level experience in writing complex SQL queries, SQL tuning and database concepts. 
  • Experience Extending Oracle SaaS Applications with PaaS
  • Simplify reporting delivery and usage wherever possible.
  • Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented 
  • Provide training and assistance to users for generation of on-demand reports
  • Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes
  • Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision.
  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline; Masters degree preferred .
  • 8 years minimum experience (higher preferred), 12 years of related experience, including a demonstrated ability in technology area. In-depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility; healthcare technology experience preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards, including:
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud reports development experience using web services (SOAP/REST) and BI Publisher/OTBI
  • Working with users in a requirements analysis role
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion ERP & Oracle PaaS implementations
  • Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
  • Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries required
  • Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures
  • Working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teams
  • Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
  • Programming / scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle is Preferred.
  • Design, develop and provide hands-on support for developing integrations/extensions in OIC/VBCS/PCS/SQL/PL-SQL
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
  • Have Strong working knowledge of OIC (Oracle Integrations Cloud) and have good knowledge of various design patterns and orchestration styles used in OIC.
  • Extensive knowledge of the following Oracle technologies: Oracle Fusion ERP Specially HCM, Finance & Supply Chain OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle BPM for Cloud ERP, Apex 
  • Extensive knowledge of the following technologies: WebAPI, REST, SOAP, Oracle SaaS for PaaS (Good knowledge of the following technologies: SOAP, WebAPI, REST , Oracle SaaS for PaaS )
  • Extensive knowledge of the following Oracle tools: OIC, VBCS, Oracle FBL, BIP, ADFDI, SMARTVIEW, FR Studio, Workflow
  • Extensive knowledge of the following languages: SQL, PL/SQL, Java, React, (X)HTML, XML, XSLT, CSS
  • High level knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion Security framework
  • Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support
     

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $108,664.98 - $202,155.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
