Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Operations Support Manager to join our Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) team. The selected candidate will assist in providing sustainment support services (operational engineering and logistics support) globally for some 25,000 vehicles including the Army's Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, or MRAPs.

The Operations Support Manager provides oversight and management for CONUS and OCONUS operations. Assists with directing, developing, and/or performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, and/or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, equipment system, or other designated program. Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities for successful completion and performance consistent with contractual agreements. The work involves identifying the specific requirements for manpower, material and services needed to support the program and correlating those requirements with program plans to assure required support is provided at the right time and place. Logistics work requires knowledge and use of Global Combat Services Support System (GCSS), Logistics Modernization Plan (LMP), Modification Management Information System (MMIS) Maintenance Operations and Supply Chain Management. Must have broad knowledge of the organization and the activities involved in providing logistical support, with ability to coordinate and evaluate the efforts of subordinate organizations.

• Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates maintenance and logistics programs for supported organizations in CONUS and/or OCONUS locations.

• Serves as the subject matter expert for all logistics operations

• Responsible for the planning, resourcing of theater-level logistic activities

• Provides maintenance and logistics oversight in support of US Army/US land forces areas of responsibility.

• Oversees maintenance and supply procedures, gathers and analyzes data, manages resources, identifies strengths and weaknesses of current processes, and develops cost-efficient solutions to optimize overall operations.

• Coordinates with forward-deployed units to identify logistical support requirements specific to mission unit AOR.

• Validates supply support requests against available resources, provides analysis, process oversight and real-time tracking information of detailed item-transit data critical to each mission’s objective.

• Performs research and analysis to identify the best logistics practices.

• Oversees GCSS-A, MMIS and LMP at the strategic and operational level.
