The Operations Manager is responsible for supervising and manage processing personnel and their workflow, ensuring high morale, excellent customer service and maximum volume and profits.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
- Supervise and manage processing staff.
- Handle issues with borrowers, team members, and Loan Officers.
- Manage day-to-day operations of loan origination, processing, and closing.
- Interview and hire processing associates.
- Provide coaching and promote a professional team effort; conduct performance planning, reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Collaborate with lenders, escrow, division escrow coordinators, Loan Officers, and distribute necessary information.
- Set measurable, achievable goals and objectives for processing staff aligned with company mission.
- Lead and direct processing associates in implementing new programs and systems.
- Oversee preparation and distribution of borrowers’ loan status information weekly.
- Ensure efficient management of loan pipeline emphasizing customer service and quality.
- Communicate training needs and issues with Center Managers.
- Create and maintain tracking systems for closing dates, lock-ins, revenue collections, and funding schedules.
- Maintain status of all loans from application through approval, including regulatory compliance and quality control.
- Stay current with Broker programs and maintain forms for submission.
- Keep abreast of investor guideline changes and communicate updates as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years in community development, redevelopment, economic development, or housing preferred (public agency, private company, or non-profit).
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Urban Design, Planning, Real Estate, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Advanced PC skills: Word, Excel (Spreadsheets), Power Point preferred.
- Excellent analytical ability and strong writing skills.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Strong motivational, management, and organizational skills required.
