Job Description
The Global HR Compliance, Risk & Policy Sr. Manager will be responsible for building and implementing a program for operationalizing and guiding risk, compliance, and policy management across HR. This role will partner closely with Corporate Risk and Compliance and with the HR global process owners to actively monitor and mitigate risk and manage compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and build plan for operationalizing compliance, risk and policy management programs aligned with corporate frameworks.
- Significantly Influences the appropriate management of risk, compliance, and policy management, including monitoring, reporting, and an escalation structure.
- Liaison with corporate functions and Global Process owners to identify, monitor and execute programs to effectively manage risk, compliance, and policy within HR.
- Leads the implementation of the ORRM framework to optimize the enterprise’s risk and return strategy.
- Leads team in consulting with HR on risk, compliance and policy issues, changes, and updates to ensure alignment.
- Leads team to reviews, research, interpret, and analyzes operational risk data to identify trends, emerging risks, and issues.
- Performs, and directs others to perform, operational risk, compliance, and policy assessments.
- Advanced knowledge/expertise in operational risk management and its impact on the enterprise.
- Accountable to manage, monitors, report and escalate significant risk issues.
- Responsible for effective independent challenge of first line risk management activities, thematic reviews and ‘deep dives.
- Significantly Influences proper managing, monitoring, reporting, and escalation structure to optimize risk and return.
- Leverages information and data to form hypotheses and assumptions of future impact.
Education
- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
- 10 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- Experience with reading employment regulations (Preferred)
Functional Skills:
- Advanced knowledge/expertise in operational risk management and its impact on the enterprise.
- Strong experience consulting on risk, compliance, and policy related items.
- Demonstrated proficiency consulting to balance risk mitigation and compliance while achieving business and program goals.
- Experience designing and operationalizing risk, compliance, and policy programs.
- Ability to define and establish programs and processes to drive consistent engagement across HR.
- Demonstrated leadership of operations within a complex and extended partnership environment.
- Experience improving processes.
- Proven experience as both a formal and informal leader.
- Critical thinking: ability to connect strategy and operations.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong communication skills, conflict resolution, stakeholder management required.
- Ability to help drive and manage change.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and the ability to build relationships with employees and managers across different levels of the organization.
- Global experience preferred.
- HR experience and knowledge preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Compensation offered for this role is $104,000.00 - 187,625.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
