Online Bilingual French / English Colourist

Do you have a passion for hair colour, a desire to grow your craft, and truly enjoy helping clients look and feel their best? Then eSalon is looking for you to join our online team! We are seeking licensed professional colourists to become an Online Bilingual eSalon Colourist, working fully remotely.

This is not a traditional salon job. eSalon offers the best of both worlds; a creative outlet to help clients achieve their hair colour goals and the stability of a full-time / 40 hour per week schedule, all from the comfort of your own home.

You'll be using your colouring knowledge and excellent customer service skills on a daily basis to assess clients' individual colour cases online. Colourists create custom formulations on a computer and provide customer service via phone, email, and chat.

What You'll Be Doing:

• You will be providing hair colour consultations in French and English via phone, email and chat from your home office. This will include overseeing and creating hair colour formulations via our online software.
• You will support your clients in an online based contact center environment through phone calls, emails, etc. 
• Digitally formulate clients' desired hair colour and match their colour expectations to encourage repeat orders.
• Proactively build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure best customer outcome.
• Demonstrate critical thinking by fully analyzing clients’ objectives and concerns and providing appropriate solutions.
• Be a team player.
• Show openness to new ideas; listen to others and objectively consider other ideas and opinions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the UK for any employer.
• Must live and be based in the UK. Plus if you live in or near London!
• Must have a current NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing or equivalent (salon experience preferred). 
• Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM GMT (this is a remote position).
• Must be fluent in English and French, spoken and written language.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a distraction free work environment.
• Understanding of colour formulation and theory.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills with good grammar.
• Highly motivated, flexible, & energetic.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to uphold eSalon values and be a strong ambassador for the eSalon brand.
