Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a OneStream Managed Services Consultant (Level 3 – 4) in our OneStream national practice. You can be based in any geographic location, as this role is 100% remote.
Job Overview:
A SupportNet Consultant in the Managed Services (MSO) group is expected to be knowledgeable in the overall architecture of the OneStream solution set and be a key resource in leading the triage, troubleshooting and follow-on development required in support of client financial systems. MSO Consultants should possess some knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, Financial Accounting Standard Board Statements (FASB), and other regulatory agency guidelines, as well as strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes.
You will provide key technical expertise for projects and also provide leadership for solving business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs.
You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, participate in sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. You will also contribute in a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. You will challenge your leading-edge solutions, consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains.
- Collaborate with MSO customers to:
- Triage, resolve and document OneStream Incidents from problem submission through resolution
- Implement enhancements to current applications
- Provide insight on best practices for OneStream solutions.
- Identify solutions/designs to client teams for system enhancements and break / fix resolution.
- Be willing to train both clients as well as internal Perficient OneStream users.
- Work with SupportNet Team, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to facilitate design, development, testing, and release features.
- Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions when required.
- Mentor and provide leadership guidance to team building innovative applications.
- Drive common vision, practices and capabilities across teams.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
- Engage with Technical Architects and technical staff to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs.
- Demonstrate broad solutions technical leadership affecting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience with OneStream Solutions
- Required Experience in:
- Cube design and implementation
- Metadata design and implementation
- Integration experience utilizing various data sources and transformation rules
- Experience developing cube views, forms and journal templates
- Ability to design workflow and how it fits into overall solution
- Exposure to development of various business rules from Finance to Extensibility rules
- At least 2+ years of experience in a professional services company, consulting firm, or agency
- Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture.
- Experience in project and solution estimation and team structure definition.
- Demonstrated success in performing work and delivering complex and/or large consulting projects.
- Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
- Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
- Ability and desire to mentor younger team members and develop their skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Be independent and self-driven.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field.
- Must be open to travel.
Preferred skills and education:
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field
- Experience with People Planning, Thing Planning and Reconciliation Compliance Manager (RCM)
- Certification in OneStream, Oracle HFM, Oracle Planning or other CPM tools
- Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight
- Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices
- Track record of leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes
- Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
