The One Stop Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the One Stop team. The incumbent will serves as the initial telephone and/or email gateway for One Stop services either by routing queries to appropriate One Stop staff or providing general information related to One Stop processes and policies.

Remote from Texas, Arizona, or Nevada.

NOTE: unless otherwise indicated, work hours are based on Pacific Time.

The hiring range for this position is $16.00 - $22.50 per hour. Offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: geographical location, knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members.

TYPE OF SUPERVISION:

Receive supervision from the One Stop Supervisor.

  • Supervision — indicates that the incumbent performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to the supervisor’s guidelines.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Respond to and route student inquiries related to financial aid, accounts, registration, academic policies, degree evaluations, petitions, graduation, and records via email, chat, and phone.

  • Complete One Stop training program and provide backup support for student communications during training.

  • Participate in supervised student interaction sessions.

  • Perform other duties, as assigned

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR LICENSES:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer relations preferably in higher education or service environment.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations across various platforms.

  • Problem-solving and resolution skills, including proactive and independent thinking in high-volume environments.

  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on creativity and innovative approaches in team settings.

  • Some knowledge of higher education academic policies, procedures, and veterans/military assistance guidelines.

  • Ability to remain supportive, calm, and professional when addressing upset or challenging individuals.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Electronic Devices and Software:  Personal computer and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including word, excel, and outlook.
