ICF Next is looking for an On-Call Project Manager to play a critical role in supporting Federal communications efforts.

The candidate will assist strategic planning efforts, provide guidance and advice on initiative development, and mentor staff to help projects meet their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic planning efforts
  • Provide guidance and advice on initiative development
  • Coach and mentor small businesses on developing strong grant applications
  • Provide a variety of marketing and outreach support and serve as a subject matter expert on federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants and contracts
  • Work on multiple projects, often juggling priorities and working with tight deadlines
  • Create and edit correspondence documents, reports, and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Work closely with client and internal team members
  • Participate in special projects as required

 Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years professional experience
  • 10+ years managing SBIR/STTR grants and contracts
  • DrPH required
  • 5+ years of Federal government experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Windows PC environment, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Communicates clearly and concisely and works well with all types of personalities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and extreme attention to detail

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$84,533.00 - $143,706.00
