On-Call CDBG-DR Systems and Reporting Consultant - Remote - Nationwide Remote Office (US99)

ICF’s Disaster Management Division is seeking an experienced professional to serve as an On-Call CDBG-DR Systems and Reporting Consultant.  This work will be part-time and temporary in nature, 100% United States remote-based position, with preference to travel up to 25% depending on role and project needs.  

As a CDBG-DR Systems and Reporting Consultant, you will have in-depth knowledge of data management systems and the concept of the System of Record (SOR) as it relates to data management for the client’s Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program.  You will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a client managed SOR.  You need to understand the client’s disaster recovery projects and programs and provide strategic consulting support to gather programmatic requirements and assist in communicating those requirements to developers for incorporation into the SOR.  The SOR will assist in the tracking and organization of data as it relates to the client’s portfolio of projects. You will work with senior staff, other experts, outside contractors, and junior staff to map program processes and gather data to enhance the SOR.  Responsibilities may also include serving as an expert, developing written materials, working with staff, providing training and technical assistance, and working directly with the client to provide advisory/consulting services. This position requires the ability to think on one’s feet and adjust to an ever-changing environment.
