Salary/Position Classification

  • $14.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 5-10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet students who come into The Hilyard Center
  • Other duties as assigned to support the goals of The Hilyard Center
  • Assist in planning and executing events and programs that promote community and belonging at UND
  • Facilitate educational workshops and training sessions for student organizations

Required Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a diverse student population
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to work, taking initiative and driving projects forward with minimal supervision
  • Possess a strong ability to identify opportunities and tackle challenges independently
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing needs and priorities

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Current undergraduate student at UND
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.75
  • Strong commitment to fostering community and belonging
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
