About the Role
In this role you will be part of establishing, building and maintaining relationships with industry Consultants, Architects and Specifiers to ensure that projects including Audio, Video, Control and Lighting systems are designed around Harman Professional Solutions.
What You Will Do
Influence the AVL (audio, video, lighting) Design consultant community to create specifications around Harman Solutions
Provide written monthly activity report identifying new projects, projects bidding or near bidding. A general summary of the prior month.
Proactive response to the AVL design consultant community
Expand relationships with existing Consultants in the identified regions
Establish relationships with new targeted specifiers in the identified regions
Able to discuss and demonstrate the technical merits of Harman solutions
Coordinate activity and results with Harman’s regional sales, business development and technical support teams to ensure a coordinated focused approach to the market
Other responsibilities assigned as required
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree preferably in a technical discipline or related field or related experience
Minimum 5 years of industry experience working with Consultants with AVL specifications located near defined territories
Proactive and results driven with consultants in the defined territories
Strong technical aptitude in the Audio, Visual and Lighting technologies
Establish solid relationships with design Consultants in the defined territories
Audio, Video & Lighting systems experience
Understand the technology design consulting channel & construction cycle
Familiarity with computer networks and IT Technologies

Ability to work in a matrixed organization and ability to communicate at all levels
Strong collaboration with internal and external customers

Salary Ranges:
