We are seeking a New Client Team Intern to join our organization. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the advisor marketing and sales pipeline. The intern will work closely with experienced sales and operations professionals, enhancing their communication skills, evaluating sales data, and expanding their knowledge of the financial industry. Additionally, the intern will gain practical insights into sales processes and marketing response handling. This position is ideal for students aspiring to build a career in financial services and sales. This is a remote internship opportunity.

Primary Job Functions:

Sales Assistance

  • Work closely with New Client Team to support the advisor opportunity sales pipeline

  • Partner with New Client Team and Marketing to understand company brand and messaging, company service offerings, current marketing channels, and event campaigns

  • Shadow team members to learn how to screen prospective clients and set appointments for financial advisors

  • With manager/team support and oversight, intern will screen prospective clients and set appointments for financial advisors

 Report Generation and Data Entry

  • Use Salesforce high velocity sales applications to prioritize work queues

  • Work with operations personnel on report generation and data analysis using reporting software such as R and SQL

  • Accurately and efficiently record data entry of interactions with prospects

  • Input new client Opportunities for advisors, ensuring proper data and reporting

  • Utilize advisor rotation software to ensure accurate prospect assignment

  • Assist with miscellaneous data management projects and tasks

Build and Maintain Financial Industry Knowledge
