Network Epic Application Analyst
UVMMC - Out of State Remote Worker
The Network Epic Application Analyst at the University of Vermont Health Network is responsible for the support and maintenance of the Epic system utilized in outpatient clinical departments. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with end-users, vendors, and internal Information Services technical staff to support business and clinical processes.
- Ensuring seamless integration of vendor software applications with business and clinical operations.
- Participating in testing and quality assurance activities as required.
- Providing end-user support by addressing inquiries, performing system remediation and fixes, and maintaining software updates.
This role requires 24/7 support coverage as part of an on-call rotation. The level of the analyst (associate, staff, or senior) will be determined based on education, experience, and certification status.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or formal technical training, or equivalent experience.
- Certification in EpicCare Ambulatory is required or must be obtained within 120 days of hire, with a maximum of three attempts.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, preferably in healthcare or Information Services.
