Reports to: IT Operations Manager

Location:  Remote - Goleta, CA preferred

The Role

The Network Engineer administrates and supports the global Deckers Network.  Working closely with the Senior Network Engineer and various IT Team members globally, supports initiatives around network equipment configuration and deployment and provides diagnostic support for the Security Team as well and end users.  This reliable self starter supports and troubleshoots various aspects of network including Retail supporting networks, corporate networks including Wireless and Routing and Switching.  The Network Engineer is knowledgeable in Cisco and Meraki lines of products.   The Network Engineer is able to multi task in a fast paced environment and works will with peers.  Is knowledgeable in current IT trends and adheres to established standards and protocols.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

• 1. Network Routing and Switching support and troubleshooting for corporate and retail networks
• 2. VLAN, firewalls, MPLS, BGP and EIGRP administration
• 3. Interfaces with end users, IT personnel and 3rd party carriers to ensure network is transmitting as intended

$105,000 - $115,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
