Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer, Associate to join our team in the Infrastructure & Operations team.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network such as Internet protocol (IP) networks, wide area networks (WANs), and public switched telephone networks.

• Plans, designs, installs, maintains, monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, modifies, and supports network communications systems to provide maximum performance and availability.

• Plans, designs, implements, and supports local and wide area networks (LANs/WANs) in the areas of Internet connectivity, capacity planning, routing, switching, server load balancing, network security, and wireless.

• Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance network capabilities. Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

• Ability to troubleshoot system problems

Basic Qualifications:

• US Citizenship Required

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Knowledge of network infrastructure, such as routers, wireless access points and switches

• Basic understanding of local and wide area networks (LANs/WANs)

• Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience

• Industry certifications, such as Network+, Security+

• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools

• Fundamental knowledge of network security principles and best practices

Security Clearance Requirements:

• No clearance required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery,

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situation

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,500-$100,800. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
