Job Summary

The NetSuite Technical Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of NetSuite solutions tailored to business needs. This role involves building and managing a team of NetSuite developers and administrators, overseeing integrations, and ensuring the security and integrity of NetSuite data. The NetSuite Technical Manager will collaborate with various departments to translate requirements into technical specifications and ensure project timelines, budgets, and resources are managed effectively for successful project delivery. 


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of NetSuite solutions tailored to the company’s business needs. 
  • Build, manage, and mentor a team of NetSuite developers and administrators. 
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 
  • Oversee the customization and configuration of NetSuite modules, including SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk. 
  • Oversee integrations with in-house and third-party applications. 
  • Ensure the integrity and security of NetSuite data and integrations. 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. 
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for NetSuite-related issues. 
  • Stay current with NetSuite updates, new features, and best practices. 
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. 
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate change management and smooth implementation of new solutions. 


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in NetSuite development and administration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Strong knowledge of NetSuite modules, including ERP and CRM. 
  • Proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk. 
  • Experience with data migration, integration, and API development. 
  • Experience with Apache Airflow is a plus. 
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology as applied in a NetSuite environment. 
  • Certified Scrum Master is a plus. 
  • NetSuite certification is a plus. 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. 
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

Professional Relationships

  • Reports to the Vice President, Back Office Applications. 
  • Manages a team of approximately five NetSuite administrators and developers. 
  • Works closely with the NetSuite Product Owner to manage the development roadmap and pipeline. 
  • Collaborates with other IT managers and teams, including Infrastructure, Security, and Front Office Applications. 
  • Engages with NetSuite stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, and Distribution departments. 

 

The estimated base salary range for this position is between $110,000 - $150,000 USD.  Please note that the pay range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors.
