We seek a .NET Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analysis, critical-thinking capabilities, and problem-solving skills. Someone with a focus on exceptional customer service who is curious in nature, challenging the status quo, and striving to leave things better than they were found is an asset for this role. Strong skills in managing multiple tasks with the ability to prioritize, organize, and maintain details and the aptitude and desire to work in a highly collaborative, self-organizing, team environment will help you excel in this role.
Essential Functions
- Understands customer requirements; develops tasks to accurately reflect those requirements.
- Designs and develops technical software solutions.
- Writes and performs testing, assists in determining the scope for testing requirements agreed-upon by the team or business unit.
- Provides ongoing support and enhancements for new and existing systems and platforms.
- Uses a systematic approach to debug issues located within a single application.
- Understands a portion of the team's application(s), can gain sufficient context to work productively in that portion.
- Designs functions that are aligned with the overall service architecture.
- Understands the importance of security. Utilizes this knowledge to ask more senior engineers for help on making decisions that may have security implications.
- Documents each aspect of a systems application.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with team members and customers to ensure effective and efficient implementation of solutions.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
