The .NET Developer will have a primary focus on providing expert level programming with robust technical design capabilities. Candidates will be able to implement design patterns such as MVC and MVP. The .NET Developer will work collaboratively with the Business Analysts, Application Architect’s, and the Customer to transform business requirements into a technical solution. USPS is looking for the .NET Developer to have a strong ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a team.

• Expert programmer with robust technical design capabilities and ability to implement design patterns such as MVC and MVP.
• Works with the business analyst, application architect, and customer to transform business requirements into a technical solution.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field is preferred

Required Experience:

• 5 years minimum experience in .NET Technologies

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong Programming, Design, and Analytic Skills
• Demonstrated experience working with JSON, HTML, JavaScript & JQuery
• Demonstrated experience with Single Page Application (SPA) design
• Experience in web services, REST APIs, WCF, SQL Server and stored procedures
• Demonstrated experience working in an Agile / DevOps development environment
• Demonstrated experience using JavaScript‐based UI frameworks such as AngularJS or AureliaJS

Required Skills and Abilities:

• A strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
• Excellent working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core / 6

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated experience with Test Driven Development
• Demonstrated experience working within an Azure PaaS
• Demonstrated UI/UX design experience

Security Clearance Level:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
