  • Applies specialized knowledge to conceptualize, design, develop, unit-test, configure, and implement portions of new or enhanced (upgrades or conversions) business and technical software solutions through application of appropriate standard software development life cycle methodologies and processes. Interacts with the Client and project roles (e.g., Project Manager, Business Analyst, Data Engineer) as required, to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. Defines scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned components. Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and or technical problems. Applies metrics to monitor performance and measure key project parameters. Prepares system documentation. Conforms to security and quality standards. Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.

Your role in our mission

  • Participate in Business Design sessions with the client, as directed by PM
  • Provide subject matter expertise to provide high level estimates and time frames for future project work
  • Ensure technical design/application changes for every CO are correct, appropriately integrated across other functional areas, and efficiently meet business drivers as stated through requirements and business design
  • Interprets business requirements into an efficient technical design
  • Effectively develops or modifies code to meet approved technical designs
  • Creates and executes test cases that thoroughly unit test any given change, to include negative testing, boundary testing, etc.
  • Understands and applies application development standards and quality processes/standards. Constructs software changes
  • Understands and effectively utilizes development tools, technical architecture, and supporting technologies
  • Understand and adhere to Release Management processes, to include emergencies
  • Understand technical architecture and supporting technologies, where appropriate (for example, K2, BizTalk, TIBCO, Business Objects, etc.)
  • Ensure quality of system changes to prevent defects/rework

What we're looking for

  • 3 Years experience with .NET., C# to develop or modifies code to meet approved technical designs
  • Experience with SQL Server/T-SQL, Oracle and Web services
  • Healthcare / Medicaid experience preferred.
  • Experience with development tools, technical architecture, and supporting technologies.
  • Experience with Release Management processes, K2, BizTalk, TIBCO, Business Objects

The pay range for this position is $55,600.00 - $79,400.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
