NDPQC Communications Assistant

Salary/Position Classification

• $25.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 15-20 hours per week

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

The North Dakota Perinatal Quality Collaborative (NDPQC) is hiring a Communications Assistant to develop a communications strategy to promote a digital resources map for North Dakota healthcare providers. This position will require 15-20 hours per week, pay up to $12,500 and run until September 2025.

NDPQC is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to build capacity and implement quality improvement programs aiming to improve perinatal outcomes for the material-infant dyad.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create a targeted communications plan to reach healthcare providers across North Dakota
• Develop engaging content for email, social media, and print materials
• Coordinate with healthcare organizations to promote the resource map
• In coordination with NDPQC staff, develop training and communication tools regarding use of the resource map
• Track engagement metrics and adjust strategy accordingly

Minimum Requirements

• • Current enrollment in communications, marketing, public health, or related program
  • Work well within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong writing and digital communication skills
  • Experience with social media management and content creation
  • Knowledge of healthcare sector preferred
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
