National Children's Activities Manager - Full Time

Freedom Leisure is on the lookout for a vibrant and visionary National Children’s Activity Manager to take our children’s programmes to the next level across our leisure centres in England and Wales, this is including holiday camps, gymnastics, pre-school sessions, and birthday parties.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to increase children’s participation, optimise operational resources, and refine lead generation, pricing strategies, and customer engagement and safety.

This role offers an exciting hybrid opportunity, allowing you to work from our centres located throughout England and Wales.

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Weekend work may be required depending on business requirements.

Requirements

  • Commercial mindset with a proven ability to contribute to revenue growth and meet financial targets.
  • A passion for children’s activities and creating fun, engaging, and safe experiences.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in customer service, marketing, or sales, particularly in the context of leisure, events, or children’s activities.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with customers, stakeholders, and teams.
  • Familiarity with legislation and health and safety standards in children’s activities, including risk assessments and safeguarding.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Mobility to travel nationally.
  • Access to a car with a clean driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in commercial roles within leisure or event management, especially in children’s activities.
  • Safeguarding qualifications.
  • Experience working with schools or community organisations to drive engagement.
  • Understanding of financial incentives for families, such as childcare vouchers.
