We're excited to announce the opening for a National Account Manager, Grocery to join our dynamic North America Sales team, with a focus on the West Region! As we accelerate our growth in North America, this role will be a key member of the sales team, and this is your chance to be a pivotal player in our next growth phase within the chocolate industry.

What you will do:
- You will be guiding our Conventional Grocery channel strategy to consistently achieve maximum sales, profitability, and grow revenue.
- You will partner with and manage brokers and distributors to support the growth of the business.
- You will develop strong relationships with all customer contacts at your key accounts and provide Customer centric solutions.
- You will lead the day-to-day customer interface, contract management, deduction resolution, order management, promotional calendar, and identify key customer sales opportunities.
- You will be responsible for end-to-end execution of plans with key accounts that you will define, execute, and evaluate.
- You will evaluate trade marketing spend and develop effective and efficient trade marketing plans while managing the Grocery P&L in conjunction with the Director of Grocery.
- You will participate in distributor and retailer events, kick-off meetings, & trade shows to build awareness, excitement, and demand.
- You will utilize customer and consumer data to effectively build customer presentations and drive demand.
- You will promote cross functional partnerships through collaboration and cooperation to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
- Applicants must be based in the western region of the US (west of the Mississippi). E.g. Denver, Los Angeles, Phoenix, & Austin.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in CPG sales, preferably with Conventional Grocery retailers in the Western US.
- Prior experience working with brokers and distributors, preferably in the Conventional Grocery channel.
- Proficient in utilizing syndicated data sources (such as IRI and Nielsen) to drive insights, strategies, and forecasts.
- Strong understanding of P&L management and trade to optimize customer strategies.
- Build creative shopper marketing activities and promotions to drive awareness and a high ROI.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, finance, and IT teams, both internally and externally.

- Ability and desire to travel to our corporate office in NYC, as well as customer meetings and shows. This role will require between 25-50% travel on average.
