Salary Range: The beginning salary range for this position is Classified 24, (Steps 1-3) $93,060.63 - $102,616.73

Position Overview
The Multimedia Designer Lead is a dynamic and creative role responsible for developing and executing innovative multimedia projects that enhance the institution's educational offerings. This position involves leading the design and production of a wide range of digital content, including videos, animations, graphics, and interactive elements, to support the institution's instructional needs. The Multimedia Designer Lead will collaborate closely with various departments to conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality multimedia content that engages audiences, supports teaching and learning, and promotes the institution's brand and mission.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
The duties below are representative of the role and are not intended to cover all of the duties performed within the scope of work.
- Lead and manage multimedia projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and objectives.
- Design and produce a variety of digital content, including videos, animations, graphics, and interactive elements, for instructional, marketing, and informational purposes.
- Collaborate with the Curriculum and Assessment Faculty, Instructional Design Faculty, and subject matter experts on the planning, execution, and delivery of multimedia projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with Curriculum and Assessment Faculty, Instructional Design Faculty, and subject matter experts to define project objectives, establish creative direction, and provide feedback and guidance throughout the design process.
- Provide expert guidance on the latest multimedia technologies and creative trends to enhance content quality and engagement.
- Develop and manage a digital asset library, ensuring all multimedia content is organized, accessible, and properly licensed.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of multimedia content, making data-informed adjustments to strategies and techniques as needed.
