Your role as the Modern Service Management Consultant (MSM)The Modern Service Management (MSM) Consultant will engage with key business decision makers to drive business executive discussions related to availability, agility, business value, costs, security management, disaster recovery, and the value of process in an enterprise environment. Expertise in Cloud Services will be key. How you’ll contributeYou will work with customers to help define and refine processes, roles and responsibilities, and governance practices to reduce risk by analyzing the underlying non-technical reasons for IT service failures and deliver expert guidance for Service Improvements that drive tangible benefits and enhance the overall quality of service that a customer's IT organization provides.· Lead customers to successfully operate their cloud infrastructure, from early adoption to Digital Transformation.· Lead MSM Cloud Services engagements across the lifecycle of a customer.· Deliver high quality work in both large-scale project environments and smaller, single staffed engagement models. · Work through complex Statements of Work (SOW) to determine the appropriate deliverables and outcomes and further define as needed ("true consulting").

Your skills and approach
- 5+ years of Consulting experience
- Cloud technology experience; preferably Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, or Microsoft Dynamics or Microsoft Azure.
- Certification in ITIL® v3/4 Foundations.
- Experience in both Service Support and Service Delivery focus.
- Experience applying IT Service Management practices to cloud services.
- Experience with Agile, Cobit, ISO20000, SCRUM, SAFe, Lean IT, Six Sigma preferred
- Certification in ITIL® v4 Managing Professional
- Excellent organization, communication, project management, problem solving skills.
- Experience with scripting and automation.
- Experience with FinOps and Azure Cost Management.
- Experience with data governance using Microsoft Purview.
