Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a seasoned logistics professional with extensive military experience, to serve as a Non-Standard Logistics Advisor for foreign partners. This role involves designing and delivering comprehensive training programs to improve operational efficiency, supply chain management, and contingency planning. The ideal candidate will leverage their real-world military logistics expertise to mentor and guide teams in high-stakes environments, focusing on non-standard logistical challenges. What you will do
- Develop and implement logistics training programs based on military best practices
- Instruct teams on non-standard procurement, inventory management, and supply chain optimization in austere environments
- Provide hands-on guidance in transportation, warehouse operations, and contingency planning
- Assess logistics personnel to identify areas for improvement and provide customized solutions
- Ensure training materials align with industry standards and mission-critical scenarios
- Advise leadership on improving operational effectiveness through strategic supply chain methodologies
- Additional duties as assigned or required
What we are looking for
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
- Military background with specialization in logistics, supply chain management, or operations
- Expertise in transportation, procurement, inventory control, and resource allocation
- Proven ability to operate in high-pressure, unpredictable environments
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in training and instructional techniques
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance
Bonus points for...
- 10+ years of experience in military logistics or equivalent civilian role
- Experience in special operations logistics or unconventional supply chain operations
- Familiarity with classified or sensitive logistics processes
- Advanced certifications in supply chain management, logistics, or operations research
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in logistics and automation
- Ability to adapt training methods to hybrid military-civilian operational contexts
- Language proficiency in any of the INDOPACOM regions
- Clearance: Possess and maintain a TS/SCI
