About the role
This role involves managing critical daily operational tasks such as trade processing, reconciliation, and data validation while resolving discrepancies efficiently. You'll enhance operational workflows, collaborate across teams to improve processes, and support compliance reviews. The role also includes partnering on technology solutions, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to projects that optimize efficiency and mitigate risks. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at driving operational excellence.
We prefer a candidate who is central to either Chicago, Milwaukee or New York City.

Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related quantitative field;
· 2 years of relevant work experience in an trading operations roles within financial institutions, ideally with bulge bracket middle office, trading or settlements exposure.
· Understanding of financial instruments and markets.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately with an eye towards automation and process improvement.
· Ability to interface with technology partners to drive process development.
· High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other basic analytical tools, including experience building and/or maintaining tactical trading and reconciliation tools.
· Sufficient basic coding familiarity (VBA, SQL queries, etc.) to interface with technology partners.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Knowledge of financial software and systems, such as Bloomberg, Advyzon or Charles River.
· Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
· Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
